Who am I?

Hey y’all! I am a 21 year old performer, adventurer, and artist, and am currently in my senior year as a musical theatre major at James Madison University. I am originally from a small town in Texas, but am currently based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia, right in the middle of the mountains!

I knew I wanted to be a performer from the ripe age of 7 years old when I auditioned for my community theatre’s production of Winnie the Pooh. I was cast as Piglet, and never looked back. Performing is the most life-giving experience, and all I want to do is share the joy I feel on stage with others.

When I am not performing, you can find me hiking a mountain, kayaking on a lake, hammocking in a tree, or anywhere else outside. I am a big fan of watching Gilmore Girls with my mom, snuggling with my dogs, and post-church Sunday brunches. I could not be where I am today without the support of my amazing friends and family. All glory to God always!

What else?

I’m a dance teacher! I teach classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip- hop to kids from ages 2 to 16. From choreographing for recitals to working on battements across the floor, I find so much joy in teaching. I love all of my students with my whole heart and am thankful to share my passion with the younger generation.

I’m a theatre electrician! My freshman year at JMU, I took lighting practicum and found a new love for theatre tech. Since then, I have worked for The Forbes Center for the Performing Arts hanging, cabling, channeling, and focusing lights for different productions for our Mainstage and Studio Theater. I am currently the head electrician for the upcoming dance concert, New Voices in Dance.
